The First Presbyterian Church of Chillicothe, Ohio has a long history of identifying needs in our community, working to meet those needs and aggressively pursuing the involvement of the congregation.  The congregation is active in continuing to support our established community missions, while being aware of new and unique opportunities to help to assist the community.

  • Children’s Clothing Bank: sponsored by the First Presbyterian Church is open on Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. until noon during the school year at the Chillicothe & Ross County Public Library Annex (146 S. Paint St., Room C). The Children’s Clothing Bank provides free clothing for needy children ages infant through high school.  Applicants may return every 3 months, if the need persists.  Applicants need to bring in a written referral to their first visit.  Written referrals can be obtained from the following agencies: Job & Family Services, Salvation Army, Goodwill, OU-C Child Development Center, any school and any church in town, including the sponsoring church, First Presbyterian Church at Belleview and Mead.
