Whether you are already part of our faith community, or are planning to visit for the first time, you are welcome to join us at 10:00 a.m. every Sunday in the sanctuary at First Presbyterian, the centerpiece of our spiritual life together.
Anchored by the good news of the Gospel, worship at First Presbyterian:
- Affirms God’s inclusive love and presence in our lives
- Challenges our minds and touches our hearts
- Offers a safe place to ponder questions of faith and its relevance in our lives
- Provides comfort in times of need
We gather for a traditional service of singing, prayer, sermons and readings from scripture that reflect our Presbyterian roots all for the glory and honor of God.
We celebrate the Sacrament of Communion and welcome anyone who professes Jesus Christ as Lord to join us.
During the summer schedule, ‘punch on the lawn’ is held after the 10:00 a.m. Worship Service. The Deacons provide punch and cookies for refreshments. It is a time to visit with friends and have fellowship with our church family.
Easter & Christmas Eve
We offer 2 services on Easter Sunday. The sunrise service is held on the front steps of the church at approximately 7:00 a.m. followed by breakfast that is prepared by our youth fellowship group. The service is moved inside with inclement weather.
The second Easter service is held in the sanctuary at 11:00 a.m.
Our Christmas Eve service begins at 10:30 p.m. with a musicale prior to worship.
